The Fine Arts Association is thrilled to present TubaChristmas a unique holiday concert celebrating the warmth and joy of the season through the resonant tones of low brass instruments. This annual event will take place on Saturday, December 20 at 7:00PM in the Lake Catholic High School auditorium, inviting guests of all ages to experience a one-of-a-kind holiday tradition.
Hosted by The Fine Arts Association, with conductor Tom Deep, TubaChristmas features local and regional musicians on tubas and euphoniums. TubaChristmas brings a fresh, festive twist to beloved holiday carols and classics. As part of an international movement, TubaChristmas at the Fine Arts Association joins hundreds of similar events across the world in honoring the legacy of William J. Bell, a renowned tuba player born on Christmas Day in 1902.
Each TubaChristmas performance is a tribute to community and the holiday spirit, showcasing players of all ages—from students to professionals. Audiences can enjoy the visual delight of musicians dressed in holiday decorations and the rich, powerful sound of tubas and euphoniums playing arrangements specially crafted for low brass. This performance is perfect for families and music lovers looking to ring in the season with a joyful, family-friendly atmosphere.
