Join us for a one-of-a-kind storytelling showcase in partnership with The Moth, featuring Footsteps members who have left ultra-Orthodox communities and are sharing their personal journeys—live, on stage.
Doors will open at 5:15pm, the showcase is 6-8pm with a 15 minute intermission, and a celebratory reception with appetizers & drinks will follow until 9pm.
Through vulnerability, humor, and courage, our storytellers will bring you into moments of transformation, strength, and hope. This unforgettable evening will celebrate the power of personal narratives to connect and inspire.
Footsteps is the only organization in North America providing comprehensive services and programs to people who have chosen to leave their ultra-Orthodox communities and build self-determined lives. Based in New York with remote offerings nationally, Footsteps provides a range of services, including social and emotional support, educational and career guidance, workshops and social activities.
The Moth Community Program provides the space, tools and expertise for people to practice the art and craft of personal storytelling. We partner with community organizations, cultural institutions and non-profits to host workshops that inspire confidence and self-reflection and deepen connections within and between communities.
