This Tree Tender Training fulfills the requirement for TreeVitalize Grants offered by DCNR.
This online webinar will be taught via the web using ZOOM, but attendees do not need special software installed on their computers. Lectures are recorded and can be viewed by attendees that miss a live lectures. An online quiz must be completed following each lecture in order to complete the course and obtain a certificate.
This is a 3-part evening series. You must attend ALL 3 SESSIONS to become certified as a Tree Tender: May 21, May 28, and June 4. If you are unable to participate live you will have to view the online recordings.
All 3 session run from 6-8 pm.

Tree Tenders is our flagship course that teaches you all about trees and how to become an advocate for them in your neighborhood. This course covers urban forestry practices, tree biology and health, basic tree identification, proper pruning and maintenance, and instruction on how to lead your community in organizing tree plantings and tree care.

Participants will need high speed computer internet access, with speakers, as well as an email address in order to communicate with the instructor.
