Join Tree Pittsburgh's Executive Director, Danielle Crumrine and City of Pittsburgh Forester, Lisa Ceoffe for a fun-filled evening to celebrate the summer solstice.

Enjoy live music and refreshments, take a riverside walk, and explore the Heritage Nursery with like-minded nature lovers while you enjoy the music from local duo The Honey Earners. We'll also have delicious cider poured by our friends at A Few Bad Apples.

You can also meet our special guest, visiting scholar Cecil Konijnenijk. Cecil is the Director of the Nature Based Solutions Institute, Dutch Office, and is the lead advocate for advancing the 3-30-300 rule. This rule provides a minimum provision for urban forestry: 3 trees visible from every home, 30% tree canopy in every neighborhood, and every home within 300 meters of the nearest public park or greenspace. Cecil will also deliver a presentation prior to the reception at 3:00 p.m. in Tree Pittsburgh's education center.

This event is for all friends of Tree Pittsburgh. We encourage you to bring a friend to introduce them to the organization! Causal, outdoor party attire with flat shoes is recommended.

All proceeds benefit Tree Pittsburgh.
