Hurry! Registration Closes June 21!

STEAM Outside Camp will engage your 4th, 5th, or 6th grader in the urban forest through a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) lens. Camp takes full advantage of Tree Pittsburgh's 5-acre riverfront campus, with its open-sided pole barn classroom, working tree nursery, wooded river trails, and mini meadow.

In this outside setting, campers will explore:

• The journey of trees from seed to sapling to old age, and how to care for them at different stages.
• The many benefits that trees provide, including their positive impact on water quality.
• The need for stewardship of urban greenspaces, so that nature and communities thrive.

Join us for tree art, investigative science, nature observation, journaling, tree-planting, paddle-boarding on the Allegheny River, and more!

Camp is designed for students entering 4th, 5th, or 6th grade in Fall 2024. Campers should bring their own lunch. Campers may be dropped off at 8:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 3:30 p.m.

If you have more questions or would like to apply for a camp scholarship, please contact Maeve Rafferty at maeve@treepittsburgh.org.

Please note: your registration is not final until you complete an additional form with more information about your camper. This form will be in your confirmation email.
