Join us on the Rosewood portico for an evening benefiting the victims of the dire escalating humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

Get the latest updates from heroic first responders saving Ukrainian lives with emergency medical care nonprofit United Hatzalah.

Hear from writer Sasha Vasilyuk who’s covered the war for The New York Times and TIME; author Masha Rumer who’s written about the crisis through the eyes of emigres from the former Soviet Union for the Los Angeles Review of Books; and Stanford Political Science and Sociology Professor Larry Diamond, author of Ill Winds: Saving Democracy from Russian Rage, Chinese Ambition, and American Complacency.

Enjoy substantial gourmet bites and wines from leading regional vintners. Bid on auction lots such as cooking classes with Top Chef alums Sam Talbot and Marisa Churchill; swim coaching with Olympian and 200IM world record holder Allison Wagner; workshops with journalists; jewelry by designer Ashley Ashoff; and luxury wines from Vin Vino Wine and Pritchard Hill vintner Nine Suns to further benefit humanitarian relief in Ukraine.

The entirety of the proceeds from tickets, auction, and donations go directly toward crucial medical and humanitarian supplies for Ukrainians fleeing Russia’s brutal attacks on civilian buildings, schools, and hospitals.

A top Charity Navigator nonprofit, United Hatzalah became known globally for its successful rapid deployment of emergency medical relief to help disasters in Nepal and Haiti in decades past. Today, the organization has mobilized its medical and psychotrauma network to save Ukrainian lives at the borders and inside of the country – as CNN’s Andersen Cooper reports in an interview from Ukraine with United Hatzalah.

For more than a month, United Hatzalah has delivered over $500,000 per day in food, medicine and basic shelter to tens of thousands of Ukrainians inside of the country and at the borders. The organization is operated by highly trained medical volunteers and supported by donors around the world. United Hatzalah is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are tax deductible.

Hosted by Top Chef alum Marisa Churchill and NorCal United Hatzalah Board Advisors Valerie Demicheva, Mark Donig, and Ashleigh Terem. The evening is made possible with generous support from the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel and United Hatzalah Save Ukrainian Lives planning committee, including Carolyn Kangavari, Sheryl Talberth and Dr. Paula Kushlan.

*The event will be hosted outdoors on Rosewood’s heated terrace, which allows for ample social distancing. Masks are optional. Dress code encouraged: business casual / cocktail attire.
