Did you know that one child dies every five days from choking?
Lifevac, an anti-choking device registered with the F.D.A has saved 634 lives since introduced.
The GFWC Jr. Women’s Club of Butler, would love to provide these life saving devices to all the schools in the Butler School District.
LiveVac makes school kits that consists of four units. The kits are suggested to be placed in the principal’s office (home kit) for practice, an EMS kit in the cafeteria, an EMS kit in the nurse’s office, and the last EMS kit in the PE instructor’s office. The Lifevac units also come with adult sized and pediatric sized masks, so they can be used for any age. Additionally, if any of the products must be used, the company will replace for free.
In order to fund this initiative, we plan on running a hoagie fundraiser with The Hoagie Shop, here in Butler.
Hoagies will be sold for $6.
Regular, Turkey, or Ham and Cheese.
The sale will run from February 1st-March 6th.
PICK UP DATE: March 13th

We will also happily take any donations to support our cause as well.
This initiative wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses and community. We thank you for partnering with us and look forward to getting these devices into the schools.
