Our Community Film Night is a time to come together as a community, hear inspiring stories of Gandhian eco-activist Dr. Vandana Shiva, and support our mission of building food and seed sovereignty across the Philippines.
'The Seeds of Vandana Shiva' is a film by Camilla Becket and James Becket.
How did the willful daughter of a Himalayan forest guard become Monsanto’s worst nightmare? The Seeds of Vandana Shiva tells the remarkable life story of Gandhian eco-activist Dr. Vandana Shiva, how she stood up to the corporate Goliaths of industrial agriculture, rose to prominence in the food justice movement, and inspired an international crusade for change.
In addition to our film screening, we will also be joining via Zoom with two guest speakers to share insightful reflections and messages of inspiration on Wednesday April 24th at 7pm MST/Thursday April 25th at 9am Philippines.
We look forward to gathering our local and global community for Community Film Night!
