Learn from farmer Noah Courser-Kellerman of Alprilla Farm how to preserve the harvest both fresh and processed foods. We’ll cover methods for properly storing late-season vegetables to last through the cold months, as well as fermenting, canning, freezing, and dehydrating.

Noah grew up in Essex, MA. As a kid, he worked in the vegetable garden with his parents and helped out with haying. He got a job on a vegetable farm the summer after graduating high school and found himself hopelessly addicted to farming. After studying sustainable agriculture in college, some apprenticeships and a season of solo market gardening, Noah started Alprilla Farm on his family’s land in Essex with a friend in 2011. Sophie and Noah ran the farm in Essex until moving to Warner in spring of 2022 to start a new chapter of Alprilla Farm. Noah loves food, the mysteries of the soil, plants and old machinery.
