Join Captain Joe Sanfilippo for an introduction to basic net mending. 

Designed for people who seek skills necessary to repair torn fishing netting, this class will cover all types of fishing nets used in commercial fishing. Come learn the local terminology used in net mending, and get familiar with the tools needed to perform the task. We will also discuss hands-on methods and knots. 

This is a two-hour course that will be offered on three evenings in September, with a limit of 10 participants each evening.
