Empty Bowls Benefit
This year, the fundraiser is benefiting Good Samaritan Haven in central Vermont, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to people experiencing homelessness.
Anyone who purchases a
ticket gets to choose (and take home!) a handmade bowl by a local potter and fill it with soup from
a local restaurant or community member. Bread and cheese from local
establishments will also be provided. And, Zenbarn staff will operate a cash bar.
The Event will be held on April 13th, at Zen Barn
in Waterbury, with two seatings, one from 4:00-5:30 p.m. and one from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

More Than Just a Meal
“I am really happy we have so much community and business support to put on this event again for its 8th year,” said Mike Sullivan, owner of The Mud Studio. “Sharing these beautiful bowls has become a wonderful tradition for the studio and its artists. We are happy to have a way to help Good Samaritan Haven continue their very needed mission in central Vermont.”
