Join us for the first gala at The Green-House at Green-Wood! The Green-House, opening in April, features the restored Weir greenhouse, an exhibition gallery, classroom, visitor reception, and more.

We'll begin with cocktail hour in the shadow of the Cemetery's iconic Arch, followed by a sunset stroll or trolley ride to dinner (and dessert!) at the Green-House.

The Gala is our only fundraising event of the year! The proceeds provide vital support for the many ways Green-Wood engages over 500,000 visitors each year.  It is sure to reach capacity, so get your tickets today!

To be listed on the invitation as a member of the Host Committee, please make your donation or pledge by April 22nd. To be listed in the program or digital journal at the event, please donate by May 20th.

ATTIRE 

Festive attire is welcomed! Cocktail hour will take place outdoors,  so please keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly. We recommend comfortable shoes suitable for traversing uneven paved surfaces.

TRANSPORTATION

Guests will enter the Cemetery via the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street. Other entrances will not be open. Subway: R to 25th Street. Driving: on-site parking will be very limited and valet service will not be available. Rideshare: cars should be directed to 25th Street & 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232.

ACCESSIBILITY

The areas of the Cemetery used for this event are accessible, as is The Green-House at Green-Wood, and the pathway between the locations. However, we welcome your specific questions about accessibility. Please contact hostcommittee@green-wood.com. 

OTHER DETAILS

All attendees must be 21+. In the unlikely event that weather conditions necessitate the full cancellation of the gala, all ticket purchases will be converted to fully tax-deductible donations. Tickets are not transferable to other events. 

The non-deductible amount is $265 per attendee.
