Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just in it for the halftime show and snacks, we invite you to join us on Sunday, February 8th, for our Super Bowl Squares Fundraiser! This virtual event supports Hands of Esperanza and the work we’re doing to build the second floor of a medical clinic in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.

How Does It Work?

1. Purchase Your Square(s): Participants can purchase a blank square on our grid (e.g., A1, D5, H9). Each square costs $25, and you’re welcome to buy as many as you like!
2. Random Number Assignment: Before the big game, we’ll use a random number generator to assign numbers (0-9) to each row and column on the grid. These numbers will be used to determine the winning squares.
3. Winning Squares: At the end of each quarter, winners are determined by matching the last digit of each team’s score with the corresponding numbers on the grid.

Example: If the first quarter ends with a score of Seahawks 13 and Patriots 7, the person whose square intersects Seahawks 3 and Patriots 7 will win that quarter’s prize.

Prizes:

• 1st Quarter: 20% donated cash
• Halftime: 20% donated cash
• 3rd Quarter: 20% donated cash
• Final Score: 40% donated cash

50% of all cash prizes will be donated back to Hands of Esperanza as we continue raising funds for the second floor of the clinic construction to serve the underserved in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. 

If the winning square at the end of a quarter does not have a winner, that quarter's prize will go to Hands of Esperanza.
