Since 2010 when EC4A (dba of HC4A) was founded, over 12,000 homeless children have received school supplies to start their new school year. Covid-19 deterred us from having face to face events in 2020 and 2021. However, even during Covid-19 epidemic in 2020, EC4A provided internet connectivity for one year to facilitate remote learning, and supported close to 1,200 children and over 100 families.

This year in 2022 with this event, we hope to raise $40,000 to provide school supplies to nearly 1,200 children in Austin area ISDs, the veteran's organization and a church.

9^th Annual Bollywood Meets Borscht Belt will be a fun filled event with entertainment, more about EC4A work, socializing, meeting economically disadvantaged family and delicious Indian food provided by Indian restaurants!

Please join and if you are not able to donate toward school supplies. Let us help students start the school year with tools for success.

Once funding goal is reached, school supplies will be procured and we will be coming together again to pack the school supplies on July 24th at 1:00 AM CT time at Dell Jewish Community Center (JCC) - Please stay tuned for more information.
