Join local teacher, birder, co-founder of Our Tern, and exhibit curator Jeff Train for a special morning event: Brunch, Birds & Better Design.

We’ll begin at Alessio’s Terrace, located in the Northwest Resiliency Park, where guests are encouraged to support this beloved local restaurant—an active partner in protecting Hoboken’s bird population—by enjoying their brunch offerings.

During this gathering, Jeff will share the inspiring story behind a recent collaboration between local teen Otys Train and Alessio’s to install bird-safe, feather-friendly window markers designed to help protect the park’s avian visitors.

After a brief introduction and time to grab a bite, we’ll head out together for a guided walk through the park to spot early spring migrants and learn how thoughtful urban design can make a meaningful impact on wildlife.

Bring your binoculars, curiosity, and love of nature—this is a morning where great food meets great ideas, all in support of safer skies for Hoboken’s birds.
