Join local teacher, birder, citizen scientist, and co-founder of Our Tern, Jeff Train, for a special birding event celebrating Hoboken’s honorary bird—the Common Tern!
This engaging outdoor session begins with a Q&A as we observe a thriving Common Tern colony on a nearby pier, just steps from the Museum. Learn about this unique species and the important role it plays in our local ecosystem.
Afterward, enjoy a “Birding Wonder Walk” with Jeff to discover other feathered friends in the area and explore nature in a whole new way.
Free to attend – but please register in advance.
All ages welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them!
