Join H.E.L.P. for a family event to benefit Phoebe's Scholarship Fund for H.E.L.P. Riders and hikers will collect cards at specified locations on the trail. Prizes will be awarded in age divisions for both riders and hikers. All prizes are donated, so please thank our donors and sponsors!
H.E.L.P. is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding center offering people with disabilities our equine assisted services for over 37 years. We teach horsemanship and horseback riding to improve life skills, independence, and confidence to riders with a variety of challenges. Many of our riders cannot afford even our discounted rates so in 2017 a passionate volunteer raised funds and started our Phoebe's Scholarship Fund to offer financial aid to riders who could not otherwise afford our unique program. To date, the fund has helped 9 riders and disbursed over $8,000 in lesson fees to help them stay mounted up!
Our goal in 2022 is to raise $18,000 for our Scholarship Fund which will
provide over 150 sessions in 2022 for riders who could not otherwise afford our
program.
