Join H.E.L.P. virtually as we celebrate 36 years of helping those with physical, emotional and cognitive challenges grow in strength and independence through personalized activities in partnership with the horse. 

Horsepower is a unique event filled with celebration and entertainment. Every dollar raised goes to support the program, riders, and horses we love. With your help, we will celebrate 36 years of empowering lives one hoof beat at a time.   

A large portion of H.E.L.P.'s annual budget is raised by Horsepower and allows us to achieve of our mission to help those with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges grow in strength and independence through personalized activities in partnership with the horse. Your generosity enables us to do everything from care for the herd of seven special horses, maintain our 20-acre facility, and most importantly provide equine-assisted activities to all of our amazing participants and their families and more to come in the coming year. 

Our Programs

H.E.L.P. serves children and adults with a variety of special mental, physical, and emotional disabilities. Instructors design and monitor individualized lesson plans for each client to address their physical, emotional, and social needs while they learn skills of horseback riding. Individual and class goals encourage each rider to be the best he or she can be, on and off the horse.

Our Impact

We believe that horses can truly change lives because we see their impact on our clients every day. Our clients not only build lasting and deep connections with our horses, but with our team of volunteers as well—and our volunteers develop deep bonds with the people they serve. H.E.L.P. is more than an organization—it’s a family for everyone involved.
