About the ToolBank

The Houston ToolBank is a nonprofit tool lending program which empowers community and charitable projects through equipment and expertise. We have a warehouse of 300 different tool types and over 12,000 items – from larger items like generators and miter saws, to hand tools like hammers and utility knives, to event equipment like shade tents and folding chairs. When we put high-quality tools in the hands of volunteers, our members are able to do more for our community. We also support school-based volunteer projects that assist schools with onsite work. In times of disaster, our lending program provides critical equipment for disaster organizations and volunteers.
