ICI’S 2020 BENEFIT IN A BOX

Building Stronger Art Communities...one box at a time!

In a year when physically gathering for our Annual Fall Benefit is not possible, we invite you to support ICI’s Benefit in a Box. Never in recent history has the work of curators been more needed, to take on cultural rebuilding, and to create a more inclusive and generative art world. By purchasing a box at one of the levels below, you support ICI’s mission to create stronger art communities, and help us empower new voices through Curatorial Intensive Scholarships, Curatorial Fellowships, and Curatorial Mentorship programs; champion global solidarity through Traveling Exhibitions; and advance civic-minded practice through the Curatorial Forum and seminars.

Premium, Deluxe, and Regular boxes are available in limited quantities, and feature commissioned multiples by artists who reflect ICI’s exhibitions, programs, and the multiplicity of voices that make up our global and national network. The detailed contents can be found under “Event Updates” on the right, and each box will feature table linens by Ebony G. Patterson, temporary tattoos by Lawrence Weiner, a backdrop by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, facemasks by Carla Fernández, along with cocktails, dessert, and more surprises. In addition, boxes at the Artists’ Circle Level and above will include a limited edition by Martine Syms, John Baldessari, or a newly commissioned work by Angel Otero.

Boxes will be delivered between October 20-27 and all box purchasers and their guests are invited to a virtual event on October 27.
