2025 Music Has Power® Symposium & Awards

Presented by the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF), at the Glasshouse in New York City on Friday, November 21, 2025. This annual gathering brings together leaders in music therapy, neuroscience, and aging care for a powerful day of education, conversation, and celebration. 

This year’s event focuses on music and mental health and features expert-led panels, networking, and an evening awards ceremony honoring multi-platinum artist Maejor of the Frequency School.

Doors open at 12:00 PM for check-in and a brief welcome. From 1:00–4:00 PM, the Music & Mental Health Symposium features three expert-led panels with built-in networking breaks. At 4:00 PM, we transition to the Music Has Power® Awards, honoring Maejor of the Frequency School, and close the evening with his immersive experiential sound session.

There are no prerequisites to take this course. This course is valued at 3 participant hours for NAB, 3 CMTE’s for MT-BC’s, and (0.3 CEUs) for NCTRC.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion and should refer to their respective professional requirements for continuing education.
