SYNOPSIS:

On March 16, 2003, pro-Palestinian activist Rachel Corrie, a twenty-three-year-old from Olympia, WA, was crushed to death by an Israeli Army bulldozer in Gaza as she was trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian home. Composed from Rachel’s own journals, letters and emails, it shows an activist in the heart of occupied Palestine. This play has been surrounded by both controversy and impassioned proponents, and it has raised an unprecedented call to support political work and the difficult dialogue it creates.

Lobby opens at 6:30pm, and the reading will begin at 7:30pm, brief pause before a panel conversation. The lobby bar will be open, including snacks and alcoholic beverages.
