Explore and practice with different approaches to incorporating the agency of other-than-human animals in contemporary fiction:  bringing the tensions and trials of people within our larger community of life.

In this three-hour craft class, the instructor will provide excerpted examples from recently published novels for initial exploration of the topic and then offer practices using current news and scientific revelations. (volunteer participants reading excepts aloud to the group for stronger physical experience)
