100% of all donations to the Stronger for Sophia event will benefit the Jansen de Vries Syndrome Foundation and specifically their 2026 Fund the Future campaign. 

Fund the Future is raising critical funds to advance research and resources, including:

• JdVS Biorepository & EEG Bank
• Disease Concept Model
• Biomarkers
• Episignature Research

Jansen de Vries Syndrome (JdVS) affects fewer than 300 individuals worldwide. This rare neurodevelopmental syndrome causes a wide range of neurological and physical challenges. The Foundation was founded by three mothers of children with JdVS and is dedicated to supporting families affected by a JdVS diagnosis while accelerating meaningful research.

Please come dressed in athletic clothing—your Stronger for Sophia t-shirt will be available for pickup at the event. We’ll have multiple workout heats with varying intensity levels, so there’s something for everyone. If you’re bringing children, there’s also a playground conveniently located right across the street.
