Join us for an evening of celebration and community as we walk through memory lane and look ahead to the future of Camp Ben Frankel. The night will be filled with cocktails, dinner, a fund-a-need, and an incredibly moving program.

Meet the Honorees

Phil Cohn, Hy and E.J. Ruffman Award.

Phil has served as President of the Board of Directors since 2018. He spent decades at CBF as a camper, counselor, and board member and his tireless efforts helped the camp go from the brink of closing to an industry leader.

Aaron “Graph” Graff, Ida Stack Ruach Award.

Graph grew up at CBF as a camper, CIT, and counselor in the ’90s. Since 2017, he’s stepped away from his work as a scientist each summer to volunteer as an Operations team leader — setting up camp, teaching activities, and serving as a role model for today’s campers.

Randy "Kernel" Huberman, Ida Stack Ruach Award.

Kernel is Co-Director of Camp Operations at CBF.  Kernel was at camp from 1986 to 1995, initially as a camper and then counselor; he has been a member of the CBF leadership team since 2017. While not at camp, Kernel is a High School Humanities teacher in Hong Kong.
