As part of October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Beaman Home Emergency Shelter and Outreach Center for victims of domestic violence will hold its annual Bingo fundraiser October 17 at the Winona Heritage Room, Winona Lake.
The public is invited to join the fun and support the shelter at the same time. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Coordinating the fundraiser are members of Altrusa International of Warsaw who established the Beaman Home in 1985.
Those interested in attending are urged to get their tickets early since the annual event sold out early last year. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Ticket price includes bingo cards, a meal and a chance to win a door prize. Indiana gaming regulations restrict participants to those 18 and over. Advance tickets may be purchased online at https://www.thebeamanhome.com/news-events/.
A Reserved table of 8 can be purchased for $225.
