The 2024 Exhibit Columbus Symposium will take place downtown at three key venues, allowing attendees to connect with all of the participants. The Symposium will explore ideas related to the curatorial theme, Yes And, by highlighting improv and sketch comedy as a way to connect with people and our environment. Registration is offered for free.

• 10:30 am YES AND REPLAYING: Site Visit to the Jackson Street Parking Garage with Miller Prize Recipient Studio Barnes and an introduction by curatorial partners Could be Design

• 1:30 pm YES AND DESIGN RESEARCH University Design Research Fellowship Panel Discussion, moderated by Could Be Design

• 3:30 pm YES AND RECOVERING: Site Visit to the Former Irwin Block Building with Miller Prize Recipient AD—WO and introduction by curatorial partners Rasul Mowatt and Too Black

• 5:15 pm Reception featuring a cash bar by Upland Columbus Pump House and light snacks by Fresh Fork Catering

• 5:45 pm YES AND COMEDY featuring: Lauren Curry and Isaac Selya, Rashika Jaipuriar, Mat Alano-Martin, and headliner Kelly Collette

Friday, October 25 at The Crump Theatre (morning) and First Christian Church (afternoon)

• 10 am YES AND RESTAGING: Site Visit to the Crump Theatre with Miller Prize Recipient Adaptive Operations and introduction by curatorial partners Preservation Futures

• 12:30 pm YES AND STUDENTS: Panel discussion with curatorial partner Mila Lipinski, the High School Design Team, and team coordinator Spencer Steenblik; special conversation with BCSC STEM Coordinator Davida Harden

• 2:00 pm YES AND COMMUNICATION DESIGN: Panel discussion with Communication Designers Adi Goodrich and Sean Pecknold of Sing-Sing and Landmark Columbus Foundation Creative Director Jamie Goldsborough
