The Faculty Wish List: Making Room for Possibility

Some of the best learning at Leelanau begins with something unexpected: a student’s question, an emerging interest, or a teacher’s idea that opens a new direction.

Our annual Faculty Wish List helps us respond to those possibilities while caring for the tools and experiences that make them possible. This year’s wishes include support for Winter Term classes, guest speakers and trips, repairs to aging but essential equipment, materials for social and residential activities, and enrichment opportunities for our insatiable learners.

Some wishes bring a new idea to life. Others keep a well-loved piece of equipment working or help students connect beyond the classroom. Each reflects our faculty’s close attention to the students in front of them and what might deepen their Leelanau experience.

The list offers specific, tangible ways to help, with opportunities for smaller gifts to make a meaningful difference. Choose a wish that speaks to you, and help turn a good idea into something our students can experience.
