Partner Portraits: An Acrylic Painting Workshop 🎨🤠

Howdy, partner! Are you ready to paint a portrait?

Join the Live Oak Art Center for a creative afternoon of community, connection, and portrait painting fun led by local Ukrainian artist Olena Marasek.

In this engaging, all-skill-levels workshop, participants will pair up, sit opposite one another, and paint each other's portraits. With guidance from Olena, you'll explore portrait painting techniques using acrylic paint while experimenting with color, expression, and personality on canvas. Beginners will learn the fundamentals, while more experienced painters can refine their skills, explore new approaches, and gain fresh artistic perspectives.

Partners will paint primarily at the same time, occasionally pausing to pose and capture each other's unique features. Whether your finished portrait is a new-age masterpiece or a wonderfully creative interpretation, the fun is in the process!

Perfect for a creative date, an outing with a friend, or a chance to meet someone new, this workshop is all about connecting through art and appreciating what makes your partner unique.

Flying solo? No problem! Individual participants are welcome, and we'll help pair you with another attendee, subject to registration availability.

Although designed primarily for adults, parent-and-child pairs are also welcome! Participants under 18 must register and attend with a participating adult.

Registration & Tickets

Individual Admission: $65

Pair Admission: $130 (includes two participants)

All tickets include three hours of guided instruction and painting supplies. Each participant requires admission, including children attending with an adult.
