The Greater Newark LISC New Jersey Neighborhood Achievement Awards recognizes exemplary individuals and organizations within the community development arena that are committed to  revitalizing underserved neighborhoods. Honorees are celebrated for leading the industry through advocacy, legislation, and innovative partnerships and programs that make New  Jersey’s urban neighborhoods safe and attractive places to live, work and play.  

The New Jersey Neighborhood Achievement Awards will be held at the historic Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, New Jersey.  A special tribute and posthumous award will be given to: Fmr. New Jersey State Senator Ronald L. Rice; Fmr. New Jersey Lt. Govenor Sheila Y. OIiver and Newark Businessman and Philanthropist  Marc Burson for their years of dedicated service to the Newark community:
