A month-long virtual event to support Loon Echo’s 30 mile (and growing!) trail network in the Lake Region. Get outside, give back, win prizes!

EVERYONE EVERYWHERE
You can make your “Trek” by visiting any LELT preserve between September 1 and Octyober 3rd. That means even a drive up to Hacker’s Hill makes you a Trekker! Even if you can't make it to an LELT preserve, consider joining the Trek from afar.

PASSPORT
Visit 4 LELT preserves and stamp your passport or take a selfie on the trail! A great way to motivate yourself to keep getting outside and discover new places.

TRAIL RUN 
Feeling a competitive? Up for a challenge? Compete for Strave bragging rights on 3 Strava segments.

PRIZES 

All trekkers are entered into our raffle to win prizes. Prizes include: 2021-2022 Season's Pass to Shawnee Peak, Bridgton Books Gift Cards, Two-night stay at Pleasant Mountain Camping, Original Kaylin Cook artwork of the Southwest Ridge Trail, Run coaching session from Canyon Wren Coaching, Ski Hot Ski Shop apparel, LELT hats and more!

•   Increase your chances of winning a prize by:

  • Raising money from friends and family to support the trails. +1 raffle ticket per participant/$20 raised
  • Taking a photo or selfie and emailing it to LELT or posting on your social media accounts and tagging LELT (and sending a screenshot to trek@lelt.org). +1 raffle ticket per participant

FAQ’s

• Are pets allowed? Dogs (or cats!?) on a leash are welcome to complete the Trek with you (make sure you include them in your selfie!).
• When do I have to register by? Registration for the Trek will run through Sunday, october 3rd!
• How do I win those awesome prizes?? Each registered Trekker is automatically entered into the raffle. You can earn more raffle tickets by raising money from friends and family (for each $20 raised, you earn a ticket), and sending in or posting and tagging LELT in a selfie or photo from your Trek (limit one per participant, screenshot must be submitted to trek@lelt.org).
