Dom joined Lori's Hands nearly 10 years ago, and ever since, student volunteers have been his "sous chefs," preparing - and then enjoying - dinner together with him and his wife, Sue. Dom teaches students about everything from cooking to drumming to life with MS, forming lifelong friendships in the process.
On June 14th, Dom will open his kitchen and teach you one of his famous recipes: Roasted Blush Sauce with Penne Pasta and Chicken (or mushrooms)! Join us for dinner, community, and music - all from the comfort of your own home.
We'll send you the recipe in advance. If you're local in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Maryland (including Philly and Baltimore!), you can opt to have Chef Robbie's Full Circle Food deliver (in a reusable Lori's Hands cooler tote!) all of the ingredients to prepare Dom's dinner or even a fully prepared meal. We'll also email you a zoom link, which you will use to join us the night of the event.
While Dom walks us through his recipe, volunteers and alumni will share stories from their Lori's Hands experience. Once dinner is ready, we'll have live music for you to enjoy your meal to. During the event, you'll have a chance to mingle with other guests and Lori's Hands volunteers to share your progress in the kitchen and to get to know one another.
Though we wish we could be celebrating the impactful work of Lori's Hands together with you in person, Distance Dining Dom is surely the next best option!
