Last year's inaugural breakfast brought together the best of West Sacramento - a surging spirit of collaborative compassion, possibility and resolve, and a belief in the power of restorative community for individuals impacted by homelessness, substance-abuse disorders, mental-health challenges, and trauma.

The Recovery Cafe logo represents something powerful to us: Diverse, broken lives coming together to form a vessel of warmth and wholeness for all. We want to invite you to be a part of that beautiful mosaic – members, donors, sponsors, and community leaders who share the vision of restorative community. Your support furthers our work at the Recovery Cafe, including:

• A safe, healing space open every weekday with coffee, a hot meal and community-building activities and conversations. Members’ photos adorn the walls and they help clean and run the cafe.
• Weekly Recovery Circles (support groups), creating spaces for processing trauma and sharing journeys.
• School of Recovery classes, including such topics as healing ceramics, grief, exercise, and life skills.
• Job-skills opportunities through our JAM (Jobs And Mentoring) Academy.
