Three years ago, we hosted the inaugural Mosaic City Breakfast to support the brand-new Recovery Cafe. Thanks to the support of community members like you, the cafe thrived, bringing to life its mosaic cup logo—a symbol of diverse, broken lives coming together in warmth and wholeness.

With our partners, we began dreaming bigger, envisioning a campus of trauma-informed services, with the cafe at its heart. This vision—an inclusive ecosystem of health, hope, and healing—has now evolved into the Mosaic Village. And as we move into 2025, it is no longer just a dream.

We invite you to be a part of this beautiful mosaic—members, donors, and community leaders who share the vision of restorative community. Your support furthers all of our work at West Sacramento Mercy Coalition, including:

• Recovery Cafe, a safe, healing space open every weekday with coffee, a hot meal and community-building activities, such as Weekly Recovery Circles (support groups) and School of Recovery classes, including topics such as healing ceramics, grief, exercise, and life skills.
• JAM (Jobs and Mentoring) Academy, offering employment and vocational skill development, paid one-year internships, as well as peer mentoring.
• Sutter Health Mosaic Center, a hub for navigation services, workforce development, and supportive services for interim housing programs such as the City's Project Homekey.
• Mosaic Village, an expanded campus of trauma-informed services and supports, with the cafe at the center of it all.
