Our 25th Anniversary celebration is here!  On Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, the Merrillville Education Foundation will be having a “Denim and Diamonds Gala” at The Croatian Center, 8550 Taft St. in Merrillville, IN.  This is an afternoon filled with food; exceptional beer, wine and spirits tasting; basket raffles; DJ and Photo Booth; and friendly fellowship!  Cash /Credit Card Bar will also be available.  Wear your favorite pair of jeans along with your "bling" while supporting the MEF in a relaxing atmosphere! 

The mission of the Merrillville Education Foundation is to be the primary private sector partner in supporting public education in Merrillville. The grants provided by the Merrillville Education Foundation offer resources that are not available through public education funding. Over the past 24 years, we have funded 578 grants and other programs totaling close to $462,000 and impacting over 148,000 students in the Merrillville schools from pre-school through high school.
