Calling all cat-lovers and animal advocates alike! Please join us for the 2022 Strut for Strays, a Walk for Cats and Kittens, taking place on Sunday, August 7 as part of Newburyport’s Yankee Homecoming Parade. We are thrilled to announce that our brand new Catmobile will be part of the parade this year, along with our group of Strutters!

It is MRFRS’ 30th year anniversary and we want to make this our biggest, most successful Strut to date! In order to accomplish this and help as many cats and kittens as we can, we need your help!

This purrfect day will start at 10:30 AM when strutters will meet in the Newburyport Market Basket parking lot for refreshments as well as the opportunity to pick up your t-shirt, if you have not yet*.

Our Strutters will organize to step off at 11:30AM, when the parade organizer brings us to our official starting point and we will then journey the 1.7 mile route to its finish at the Bartlet Mall.**

*Individuals who raise a minimum of $50 are eligible to receive this year's Strut T-shirt. Individuals who raise a minimum of $300 are eligible to also receive the coveted "I'm a CATalyst" long-sleeved T-shirt. This year's T-shirts will be available for pickup the week prior to the Strut.
