This garden party with a purpose will take place in the garden of a very creative artist and Mint board member named Charlene Uresy. It will feature Cuban-inspired food, sangria and music and some surprises.
And Charlene will share some of her Cuban heritage and stories with guests. Many years, she spends several weeks in Havana with family members, researching Cuban religion and cultural references - and some of them end up in her hand painted furniture, mirrors and more.
Guests with VIP tickets are invited to arrive at 4 pm for a guided tour of Charlene's home. They also will take home special Mint prints and appreciation gifts.
Other guests please arrive for our garden party at 5:30 pm or after 7:30 pm if you purchase an afterglow ticket.
The event takes place Friday evening, with Saturday, June 25 as the rain date.
