On Monday, April 12, MUSE will host a free virtual community event taking you on a journey into our history, as Founding Mothers share ways in which MUSE has used song to respond to events in the past. See how their stories of strength, hope, empowerment and resilience are equally relevant to the struggle of women and other marginalized groups today. We will highlight stories of resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic and reveal persistence in the face of hardship and struggle. Some relied solely on their individual strengths and perseverance while others endured with unique help from family and community. Join the virtual event here, it is open to the public and will emceed by Music Director, Jillian Harrison-Jones. It will include music, dialogue, stories and so much more.
