Human trafficking is occurring in plain sight in the hospitality industry in Foxborough and other Massachusetts suburbs. Our hope is to increase awareness about human trafficking within our communities and to disrupt operations by helping hotel and lodging staff, business owners, and justice seekers identify traffickers and potential victims.

GUEST SPEAKER BIOS

MICHAEL GLENNON is an experienced trial attorney at Brody, Hardoon, Perkins and Kesten, handling all manner of civil cases with a focus on cases of sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. Michael has filed complaints against a number of hospitality companies on behalf of Massachusetts survivors who were trafficked and abused on hotel properties. For over 10 years, Michael was a prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston. During his decade-long tenure at the DA’s office, he served as a Superior Court Prosecutor and Chief of the Juvenile Unit in which he supervised a unit of prosecutors and diversion staff handling youth and adult indictments and investigations of human trafficking, sexual assault, child pornography, and gang crimes involving significant acts of violence. Michael is also an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School where he teaches classes in Professional Responsibility and Juvenile and Neuro Law.

JASMINE GRACE is a sex trafficking survivor, founder and executive director of Jasmine Grace Outreach, and author of The Diary of Jasmine Grace: Trafficked. Recovered. Redeemed. She is a sought-after keynote speaker, trainings facilitator, and panel participant who has spoken on panels at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in New Hampshire, and in side panels for members of the United Nations in New York. Featured on the 700 Club and as well as many online news sources, she consults with healthcare professionals, law enforcement, educators, and non-profit organizations, advising on issues including survivor support, safe homes, peer mentorship, curriculum development, and program growth. With her story of survival, faith, and victory, Jasmine empowers women as they exit and recover from the commercial sex trade and addiction.
