NACL presents FESTUS by Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble

FESTUS invites you to step into a colorful, interactive world — solve puzzles, play games, respond to prompts — then watch your ideas come to life on stage that same day!

In this live, in-the-moment “lab,” your contributions are the inspiration for a 45–50 minute “Soundpainted” performance. Guided by certified Soundpainter, Leese Walker, the interdisciplinary ensemble transforms your stories into music, movement, and spontaneous theater using Soundpainting, the universal multidisciplinary sign language for composing live performance in real time. 

It's playful. It's surprising. It's art in the making. Come be part of the experiment—and see what you create! Then stay after the presentation for delicious soup, and conversation with the artists!

Note about Ticket Pricing

Ticketed events at NACL are an important base of support for our residency programs. The admission price to events contributes to our ability to provide residencies and public programs. That said, we never want concerns about money to keep people from participating. We have a long-standing Pay What You Can policy, for anyone for whom cost would be prohibitive. We’d like everyone to be able to join us regardless of financial situation.

Our online options include the Standard Admission and a Reduced Rate. If you wish to pay a different amount, you can opt to not reserve online and pay what you can at the door.

If your financial outlook is bright, consider adding an additonal donation with your ticket purchase to help us continue to be able to cover the cost for those who can't.
