Learn how to effectively integrate CHWs into your organization! This 4-part training series will provide best practices and strategies to support CHWs.

• Session 2 - Learn how to design effective CHW programs that align with your mission
• Session 3 - Navigate structural and system challenges to integrate CHWs
• Session 4 - Discover best practices in supporting retaining CHWs

Objectives

• Elevate the CHW Profession. 
• Clarify the scope of CHW practice as one that supports compliments and aligns with other roles. 
• Understand CHW multisectoral work bridging public health, healthcare, mental health, and social services.
• Clarify CHW scope supporting and aligning with other roles.
• Fostering an understanding that CHWs often share similar life experiences and backgrounds as the clients they serve. 
• Cultivating empathy, cultural competence, and humility when supervising CHWs of diverse backgrounds. 
• Ensuring supervisors have the knowledge and skills to recognize cultural differences and provide trauma-informed supervision and support for CHWs.
