Overview

The digital divide, the difference between those who have stable internet connection and those who don't, has been termed a super determinant of health for the ways it impacts all the other SDOH. In this program, we will look at how digital equity affects all of us while focusing on those most affected. There will also be discussion of ways to promote digital literacy.

Objectives

  • Understand the true impact on individuals who are digitally disadvantaged.
  • Learn the value of talking about this with clients and patients.
  • Discover the steps you can take to neutralize that divide for your clients.
