Whether it's a quick sketch or a beautiful masterpiece, art is something we can all enjoy! Art is a way for us to share our emotions, dreams, cultures, and aspirations with the world around us, so it makes sense that we should learn about as many different art styles as possible! At Art Empowered, we will focus on the wonderful women who helped shape the art world despite all the challenges before them. Anyone in the age range of 8-12 years old is welcome to attend! Each day, we will learn about two female artists and their art styles, and we will create our own art projects with new perspectives. Art materials will be supplied free of charge thanks to The Capital Gallery, so all we ask is that you bring a snack, clothes that can get paint on them, and your imagination!
