On October 10th from 7–9 p.m., we’ll head out to the Lyre after dark in search of moths with CJ Urnes, Field Biologist and Ecologist with Olympic National Park.

Carter (CJ) Urnes is an ecologist who is especially interested in invertebrates. He has worked on the Olympic Peninsula since 2011, primarily been in the backcountry of Olympic National Park. Please bring your insect photos and invertebrate questions. Please also bring flashlights or headlamps; we will turn on the moth lights and then search for terrestrial invertebrates in the forest while we wait for moths to arrive.
