Join us a bit earlier at 11:30 to pay tribute to Timely Writer.  Multiple Graded Stakes Winner Timely Writer lost his life in a tragic breakdown at Belmont Park in 1982. Due to construction of a new synthetic track at the park, his grave has been exhumed and his remains will now be reinterred in Old Friends’s Nikki Bacharach Memorial Cemetery.  (there is no fee to attend this tribute)
