Meditation Essentials to Deepen Your Meditation Practice
Have you noticed that your meditation practice has been disrupted by a change in your routine during the pandemic? Do you find it difficult to calm your mind when you do sit?
This workshop is designed to address those issues by offering a refresher of what you already know and adding some practices that will help you deepen & strengthen your meditation practice. We will focus on:
Identifying and releasing stress and anxiety.
Releasing expectations and judgments.
Expanding awareness of the power of breath.
Understanding the role of meditation as a mindfulness practice.
During this two-hour workshop, we will begin with a brief refresher of tools and techniques that were learned in the Beginner’s Meditation Workshop. You will be guided through exercises designed to aid in identifying where you store stress and anxiety in your body so that you can settle into a place of ease. And we will enjoy extended periods of both guided and silent meditation.
The workshop will include follow-up materials, such as, helpful articles related to meditation and mindfulness guided meditations from Bobbie and an opportunity to join others from your group for continued support and encouragement.
