The Open Door is so excited to announce its upcoming fall event- a virtual concert on impact- Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 7pm.

Get ready to hear how The Open Door has had a life-changing, life-giving impact on our students, volunteers and communities!

You will enjoy 6 musical performances, including TWO Broadway singers AND a Grammy-winning artist! Our performances are coupled with raw, emotion-filled testimonies and Open Door program updates.

Why another concert? The Open Door is blessed to have so many talented individuals as part of its familia. We also recognize that music resonates with people. It transcends age, gender, cultural background, economic status... Like The Open Door, it's common ground for celebrating the journeys of life and drawing people together.

We currently have 300 students registered and over 50 volunteers committed to sharing their time and talents each week. All of our classes are virtual and our sense of community/familia has never been stronger!

Our goal with this event is to raise $50,000. All funds will support our current programs: ESL, GED and computer literacy. Funds will also ensure that we are prepared to operate three sites next school year: (Lord willing) 2 in person and 1 virtual. (In order for this to happen, we need additional funds to hire a second program coordinator and continued funds for the social work/student engagement role Daisy has been fulfilling!)
