Join Orkestai Farm for an autumnal fundraiser and celebration in gratitude for the Abundance of the Land and the contributions of our Neurodiverse Farmers. The evening will include live music and community contra dance, farm-fresh food including pizza baked on site by Piñons Pizza and fare from other local chefs, and drinks.
Contributions will help us continue to develop year-round programmatic consistency and meaningful engagement for our Neurodiverse Community.
Orkestai Farm exists to promote creative participation in our community of people of All Abilities, including Autism and other Developmental Differences, through the practice of ecological agriculture and expressive arts.

Music, Dance and Art:
Music: DANCE ALL NIGHT! plays old time traditional music for dances and listening for all types of events, public and private.
Dance: This Harvest Moon we will swing into Autumn with a COMMUNITY DANCE which aims to be inclusive of all. The dances are simple called folk dances accompanied by live fiddle music. Before each dance, the caller organizes participants into pairs and walks them through the steps. All of the dances selected for this event are beginner friendly.
Dance Caller: Chart Guthrie has been calling dances for nearly thirty years and dancing since he was in fifth grade. He has called dances from Maine to Washington DC, but calls primarily on Long Island. His easygoing style and clear teaching technique gets even beginners up dancing before they know it.
Community Art: Driftwood sculpture with Patrick Silvestri and Dave Gugery. Farm art with Mara Esposito.
