Join PAIR for a special community screening of the award-winning documentary Ultimate Citizens at the historic River Oaks Theater!

Ultimate Citizens follows Jamshid Khajavi, an Iranian American school counselor who helps immigrant and refugee youth find healing, confidence, and belonging through the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. The film is a moving celebration of resilience, community, and the extraordinary impact that one caring adult can have in the lives of young people.

Whether you're a longtime supporter of PAIR or are just getting to know our work, we'd love for you to spend the evening with us.

Event Schedule

• 6:00 PM – Doors open! Grab dinner or drinks from the theater, mingle with fellow supporters, and enjoy the space.

• 6:30 PM – Welcome, PAIR student & alumni panel 

• 7:00 PM – Screening of Ultimate Citizens (52 minutes).

Tickets are $25 per person, and all proceeds benefit PAIR's educational mentoring programs for refugee and immigrant youth in Houston. We also encourage guests to enjoy the River Oaks Theater's food and beverage offerings before the film begins.

Space is limited to 50 guests per screening, so reserve your seat early!
