Pathways friends and supporters gather to recognize outstanding leaders in hospice and health care and to provide financial support to ensure that Pathways will always have the resources to provide the state-of-the-art, person-and family-centered hospice and home health care our community needs and deserves.
One from the Heart is a sit-down breakfast attended by some 600 corporate, healthcare, and community leaders as well as Pathways families and friends.
This year, we will present Pathways' Leadership in Healthcare Award to Nancy Farber, recently retired CEO of Washington Hospital in Fremont.
Our featured speaker is acclaimed author David Corbett, a sought-after San Francisco private investigator who transformed himself into a writer of award-winning crime thrillers. David lost his wife to ovarian cancer when she was only 46, so he has a deep appreciation of the very special caregivers who devote their lives to providing hospice care.
In great demand at working workshops and seminars throughout the Americas, David Corbett has produced a series of accolade-winning thrillers. His latest novel, The Long-Lost Love Letters of Doc Holliday, combines legend, romance, crime, and suspense.
Book signing to follow the breakfast.
